Christine Holbo

Christine Holbo is an associate professor at Arizona State University, where she offers classes on literary realism, the transatlantic tradition of the novel, sentimentalism and affect theory, protomodernisms, regionalisms, little magazines, Pragmatism, and other American errors. She is the author of Legal Realisms: The American Novel under Reconstruction (Oxford UP, 2019)She serves on the Executive Committee for the MLA TC Forum Law and Humanities, and is always on the lookout for forum collaborations. Her current book project, on aesthetics of concealment in turn-of-the-century American literatures, is tentatively entitled Modernisms Others.
