Blues Dancing and its African American Roots

Tuesday, March 3, 2020 – Tuesday, May 31, 2022, All Day, Spurlock Museum.

Visit the Spurlock Museum and walk through this exhibit that explores the history of “blues dance” – popular dance practices from African American communities in the United States. The exhibit is made up of artworks, photographs, and video interviews with local African American community members sharing stories of dance and music.
