Andrei Kureichik, renowned theatre artist and filmmaker, will speak about the ways in which he used his writing to mobilize citizens fighting for democratic freedoms and to bring international attention to human rights violations. Kuriechik wrote the play Insulted. Belarus(sia) which was written while in exile and was an international success which resonated with many who were concerned about diminishing democracy, police brutality, State violence, and disinformation campaigns. More information about the event can be found here.
