Professor Ananya Roy, Spring 2019 Nicholson Distinguished Visiting Scholar, (UCLA) will give a lecture about racial banishment as a state-instituted violence against racialized bodies and communities, seeking to pinpoint the workings of racial capitalism at both urban and global scales.
