Joseph Rezek

Joseph Rezek is an associate professor of English at Boston University. He is the author of London and the Making of Provincial Literature: Aesthetics and the Transatlantic Book Trade: 1800-1850 (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2015). His work has appeared or is forthcoming in ELH, Early American Literature, J19, ALH, Early American Studies, and African American Literature in Transition, a new series from Cambridge University Press (Jocelyn K. Moody, general editor). His current book project, “The Racialization of Print,” tells a new story about the relationship between the technology of print and shifting racial ideologies in the long eighteenth century.
