Lisi Schoenbach is an associate professor of English at the University of Tennessee, where she teaches and works on twentieth-century literature and philosophy, with a particular focus on modernism, pragmatism, and political theory. She is the author of Pragmatic Modernism (Oxford, 2012). Her work has appeared in Modernism/Modernity, The Henry James Review, and The Chronicle of Higher Education.
