Mary Esteve teaches undergraduate and M.A. courses in American literature and culture at Concordia University in Montreal. She is the author of two monographs, Incremental Realism: Postwar American Fiction, Happiness, and Welfare-State Liberalism (Stanford, 2021) and The Aesthetics and Politics of the Crowd in American Literature (Cambridge, 2003), as well as numerous articles and reviews. A founding member of the research collective, Post45, she currently serves as co-editor of the peer-reviewed section of its online journal, Post45.
